Isle Sur-la-Sorgue Thursday

Has anyone been to the Isle Sur-la-Sorgue Thursday market? We are traveling late May/early June with a group of adults. We cannot go to the big Sunday one, so are considering going on Thursday instead. Any opinions? Thanks.

Yes we were there on last Sunday so no experience as Thursday. However saying that, I would still go on the Thursday. Sunday was very crowded so get there early so you can get a parking space. The market products were really good as to quality and compared to St. Remi cheaper. The mistral was really blowing which made it cold nut it was settled down since. Have a great visit en Provence.

It is so crowded on Sunday, that it's got to be better. But it really depends why you are going. Because it isn't the same type on Thursdays, they don't have the brocante on that day, for example (junk/second hand stuff).

I think it's mainly locally grown food on Thursday, but I imagine some other local products (herbs, oils, etc.).

We plan to go on Sunday since we arrive on Friday. Any other tips besides getting there early?

Have coffee & croissants by the church at 8am. Then head for the vendors near the water - that area seems to be the most crowded as time goes by. Brocante vendors set up later - so do them last. "Store" antique dealers are open throughout the day.

We've been to both days. Stu has it down for timing. We bought some really nice treasures at that market.
