Is this a decent fare for an open jaw mia/lis-cdg/mia?

Can anyone tell me if $813 (this inc taxes) for next June from MIA to LIS (doing a week in Madeira) then a week in Paris and flying out from CDG to MIA is a decent fare? Can I do better and/or should I wait?
The rest of the flights getting from Lisbon to Madeira and from Lisbone to Paris total $295 per person, so total cost for one person is $1107.

With all taxes, fees, etc. included that sounds like a darn good fare to me for June.

Where did you get that quote, and what's the airline?

Hi,
Orbitz for the big fare (on Iberia)

I used TAP air Portugal for the rest. Thanks for your help.

I'm curious. Did you try what Iberia would charge you for the same flight? If the same price, I always prefer dealing direct with the airline. Also, they may be able to add in Lisbon to Paris as part of the same flight "package".

Thanks Patrick, I haven't tried it yet. Oyhrt flights in the past Iberia usually has the same price but minus the Orbitz fare. I did do a few options and was coming up w/ 1300+ (now that I think of it I think I did do this on Iberia) Thanks.
What do you think of the price? Should i wait?

Oh, please don't ask me. I haven't bought a flight to Europe in years, so don't know what it should be. (I always use miles for Europe). But if it were me, I'd probably go ahead and book it. With my luck it would probably only go up especially for June.

Last June (June 2005) we flew atlanta to london (Gatwick) and Milan back to Atlanta. Price was $798 per person. (if we had jumped on the best price it would have been $100 less).

With gas prices rising like they are, I think your $813 is okay.

Hi P,

Iberia is offering your flight for $802, on 6/6-6/20.

Are you aware that your flight from MIA to LIS is likely to be on a code share, not Iberia?

Have you checked to see who you will be flying with?

hi Ira,
Thanks for your and everyone elses input. I actually will need the 6/4 departure and the codeshare airline is AA. I am just trying to figure out how good of a fare this is once I add in the TAP air segments (LIS to FCN and LIS to CDG) which bring the total to 1103 for the entire trip. What do you think?

Hi Paula,

Your $813 fare is quite good.

For LIS to FNC and LIS/Paris check www.whichbudget.com

They have LIS/FNC for 70E ea way.
LIS Paris/Orly is also 70E

Hi Ira,
Thanks for the tip. Now I just have to figure out how to book on Luxor. This airline wants me to call a number and I have no idea where that number is located.
