Put you trust in Steve, mate. He does everything to make you happy, why would he not supply you with a dual/multi voltage charger. Of course he did. He even designed that part were the prongs are attached to be removable and replacable with two europlug compatible prongs.

LOL! Thanks. I just needed to hear this from users. When I saw they sold a very expensive adapter kit I got confused but its for elegance. I just bought a $1.99 plug adapter from Magellan. Anyway- thanks. Did not want to carry the heavy converter just for this.

You'll be fine in France.
See the link posted by qwovadis for info on power conditioning. Without getting technical, sort of a surge protector. While a good idea, don't worry about it for your trip.
For future reference... always look in the little box part of the AC adapter... it will be marked 110-220 V 50-60 HZ or similar. The 220 tells you you're good for European voltage...

Conditioning is unnecessary (and frequently BS). You'll be in France, which probably has the most reliable power grid in Europe, not Moldova. There currently is no difference between ipad and iphone chargers, they're both using the 10w plug connected to the AC adapter ParisAmsterdam described above. Differences existed between earlier incarnations of the devices (e.g. iphone 3 v. ipad 1).
