Hotel in Spain (Seville, Ronda, Granada)??
Okay, for everyone who books reservations months or years in advance...please dont get upset. I am leaving for southern Spain in two days...and we dont have any hotel reservations yet.
I am looking for a place to stay at the following:
--Seville, Spain (2 nights)
--Ronda, Spain (1 night)
--Granada, Spain (2 nights)
What I am looking for:
--Cultural hotel with relevant Spanish furnishing
--Clean
--Not TOO expensive
--Centrally located
Any suggestions??

I can't remember the name of our hotel in Granada in 2001, but it was on the hill where the Alhambra is located and was not a parador. We chose it because seeing the Alhambra was the main reason for our visit to Granada. The hotel was pleasant, and we enjoyed our stay there. In Seville we stayed in the Casa de la Juderia in the Santa Cruz district. Our room was excellent and the breakfasts were to die for.
As a hint, if you plan to visit the Alhambra be sure to book your visit well in advance.

Seville - Dona Maria

Ronda - The Parador

(Paradores have a young person rate if you are between 20 and 30. Great deals.)

Granada - stay somewhere on the other side of the Alhambra so you can look up at it at night.

You should run all your dates through the tripadvisor search engine. They will only give you available hotels. That will determine a lot.
Alhambra tickets are gotten a lot ahead of time. When you get a hotel, contact them about any tours they still have available. That is how we got in during Easter week. It was a little more expensive, but then we had an English speaking tour guide who was very good.

If you have an interest in a walking tour or two in Seville, I cannot recommend Connie(Concepcion) at seville walking tours enough. We did two with her (just our family) and were so impressed. sevillewalkingtours.com. We did both the city and cathedral tour with her.
