Hoping this is the last London location question...please?

The place we thought we were getting in Sloane (tube) is now not available, so we're down to three other choices:

1. b&b at Russell Square tube, somewhat tired I think, but clean.

2. LOWER GROUND FLOOR FLAT, ** ONSLOW GARDENS, SOUTH
KENSINGTON SW7

Studio room, bathroom, open plan kitchen. High Speed Internet Access.
Freeview TV. Nearest underground station: South Kensington.

This attractively decorated studio flat is located in this prestigious garden
square in the heart of South Kensington. The flat is on the lower ground floor.
Off the entrance hall is the bathroom which is well fitted with marble finish,
and has bath with power shower over tub, wash hand basin and loo. There
are wood floors throughout and the spacious studio room has french doors
onto a small decked internal patio. There is a large skylight giving plenty of
light which has an electric blind for night use. The brand new kitchen is open
plan with breakfast bar and 2 stools, and has dishwasher, washing machine,
separate dryer, hob (stove top), oven, microwave and fridge. The studio room
has good storage and the double bed comes out from one of the cupboards -
this is very easily done and the bed can be put back made up with all linens
etc - there is a contemporary 'L' shaped leather sofa and coffee table, flat
screen TV, bookshelves, and decorative fireplace. Excellently located for all
the many shops, restaurants and amenities of South Kensington including the
museums and only a 6/7 minute walk from South Kensington underground.
NON SMOKING PROPERTY.

3. http://www.aplacelikehome.co.uk/l45-...-bqxiepxf.aspx
*, ** EARLS TERRACE, KENSINGTON W8

Bedroom, bathroom, sitting room, study, kitchen. High Speed Internet Access.
Nearest underground stations: Kensington High Street and Olympia.

Situated in this most attractive, prestigious period terrace on the 4th floor (no
lift), the flat is spacious, extremely light and bright, and is also recently
refurbished and elegantly furnished. The last flight of stairs are within the flat,
and there is a spacious sitting room with sofa, chair and round dining table
seating 4. Off the sitting room is the well fitted kitchen, finished in wood and
granite with microwave/oven, hob (stove top), fridge and washer/dryer. The
good sized bedroom has double doors from the sitting room, a king size bed
and good storage with lovely views down onto gardens. There is also a study
with desk and broadband. The bathroom is well fitted with bath with power
shower over tub, wash hand basin and loo. This is a most comfortable,
elegant flat very conveniently located for all the many shops, restaurants and
amenities that Kensington High Street has to offer. The nearest underground
is at Kensington High Street which is an 8 minute walk away. NON
SMOKING.

We'll be coming in from Gatwick and leaving probably from London City airport.

As always, location is everything, from ease of getting around, to some shops and dining possibilities close by, attractions, etc.

Anything jump out at any of you who know London?

Thanks, once more.

well of the three locations (any reason you didn't link the other two?) the b&B or Onslow Gardens would be better. Earl's Terrace less so but OK.

Onslow Gardens being a flat --if it is anywhere near the same cost as the B&B -- I'd choose Onslow Gardens.

In terms of areas, my preference would be in the order you have listed.

I think I'd opt for the Onslow Gardens place of the three you have listed.

Onslow Gardens is lovely and my favorite pub also recommended by CW is nearby . The ANglesea ARms, it is a shortwalk to King's Rd or Cromwell Rd. My favorite arefor the last40 years.
