Help with Itinerary (Paris,Milan,Venice,Florence&Rome)
I will be heading to Paris & Italy for my honeymoon this December. I have so far planned for my travel locations to be as such :
Dec 11-13 : Paris
Dec 14- 15 : Milan
Dec 16-17 : Venice
Dec 18-21 : Florence
Dec 22-25 : Rome
We plan to have a more relaxed trip with lots of eating and shopping. And maybe just to visit the touristy areas. Help please?
Also which B&B's come highly recommended at these places which are near the touristy areas? Thanks!

Tell us your B&B/hotel budget in euro so we can make the best recommendations for you.
It sounds like a nice trip. Keep in mind that in December, it will be dark by 5PM in most of these places, which may limit some activities you plan.
Considering you mention having a relaxed trip, you will spend a lot of time moving from city to city. Each time you move, even within Italy with relatively short train rides, you will spend at least half a day checking out of hotels, traveling to train stations, traveling by train, finding the next hotel, checking in . . . Take a look at your itinerary with travel included. For December 14-18, you have planned travel every other day. To make a more relaxed trip, I would probably choose Milan or Venice, not both. I'd probably give one of those days to Paris.

Florence is small, it just has tons of museums. Unless you really are art lovers, then reduce your day in Florence. give it to either Paris or Rome. I'd say give it to Paris, because Paris is huuuuuuge

Much though I love Florence and its art, I think you can borrow a day for Paris or Rome. You have so little time in each city that your trip will not, as you hope, be relaxed. You will be on the go constantly. If that works for you, you can fit everything in. Happy Honeymoon!

Dear all, thanks for your responses! My budget would be about 100-120 euros for each night accomodation.
I thought of spending longer in Florence because:
1) I would like to spend a day at the mall & space outlet for shopping
2) travel to Pisa for a day trip
Do you think this is feasible? Thanks a zillion!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
You hotel will be able to call a cab for the ride to the airport.
I certainly don't call this a relaxed trip. You're visiting 5 cities in 2 weeks. It's a lot of running around.

Doesn't look very relaxed to me at all, as has been pointed out--getting TO places takes time, and then time to find and check into whatever accomodations you have arranged. Leave off Milan at the very least. Not enough time in Paris counting arrival and departure. Take a day off of Rome.

I can only agree with all of the above - if you are after a relaxing trip you will need to cut down some of the cities.
My wife and I recently spent 28 nights visiting 6 cities all in Italy - and we were exhausted by the end. However, we did LOVE it! Italy is the way to go, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding.
