Help from Paris to Les Eyzies de Tayac
Our dates are Sunday May 22-May 25th
Return flight back to the States from CDG May 26th
We will be in Paris (not our first visit) and after spending a few days we would like to travel to the Les Eyzies de Tayac to see 'the caves'
we would be traveling on a Sunday and would need to pick up a car in a city near to Salat/Les Eyzies de Tayac area.
I have tried Avis & Hertz for the cities of Brive and Périgueux, for car rental on Sunday. All closed.
Can someone suggest another city close to the area we are interested in seeing that we could train to that might have an agency open on Sunday?

Try the airport at Brive - they have car rentals which are open 'every day during the season' It's not clear when the season starts, and this may not be May.

I wouldn't bother making this trip. You'll arrive in Les Eyzies late Sunday no matter where you pick up the car (it won't be at a local rental outfit, as they'll all be closed Sunday, as will everything else). Monday most things will be closed. Tuesday it's likely that some sights will be closed. Wednesday you need all day to get back to Paris. Hardly worth it.

haven't been there but they appear to be open on Mondays in May, e.g., http://www.semitour.com/pages.php?p=Horaires_Sites
