One day in Paris - Pick Sunday or Monday?
Hello,
I have a choice to spend a day in Paris either on Sunday or Monday. Does it matter which day I pick? It's my first time in Paris, and I'll probably be doing the usual touristy things. Are a lot of things closed on Sundays (e.g., Louvre museum, cafes, shops, etc.)?
Thanks!

Sunday is our favorite day in Luxemborg Gardens, the Tuilleries, and just Paris in general.
Some of the shops that are open on Sat. are closed on Sun. & Mon.
Most of the cafes are open on Sun. and Mon. Some of the museums are closed Mon. ( I believe D'Orsay and the Rodin).
Given the choice, I would be there on Sun.

in addition to the Orsay and the Rodin, these are closed on Mondays (check websites to make sure)
The Rodin Museumsee Carnavalet
Musee du Quai Branly
Musee de la Vie Romantique
Catacombs
Musee de l’Orangerie
Musee Marmottan
The Louvre is open on Sundays, but like museums in many cities, it is usually particularly crowded on Sundays, even more so if it's one of the free admission Sundays.
