France Itinerary Advice Please

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are in early 60's, our sister in law and our son will be traveling to France on or about May 16 and departing on 36, 37th (ball park) My husband and I have been to Paris and spent a week there, but the other two have not been there. This is what we have decided that we want to see. Paris, Rouen, Etretat (to see the cliffs), Bayeux, Omaha Beach, St Mere Eglise, Mont St. Michel. Hubby is also wondering about a day trip to Reims from Paris to see the cathedral. What we need to know is if this is doable. We have already eliminated several things such as a trip to Belgium. We want to see history of course, cathedrals, small fishing villages, etc and of course the DDay battlefields. Would appreciate your excellent advice on places to stay - we enjoy B&B's. We are in good physical condition and will be renting a car.
