You could take the train out of Pisa ( it's about an hour from Florence) to Genoa. I'm guessing that your travel time would be about three- four hours. Then another train from Genoa-Nice, which is a two and a half hour trip. You could also check to see how much it would cost you to fly Pisa-Nice.
Good luck!

If you opt to take the train, GET A SEAT RESERVATION. I can't emphasize this enough: get a seat reservation!!!! I took the train from Nice to Milan last week and from Como to Nice yesterday (which goes through Milan) and the train was packed to the rafters, with many, many Americans wandering the aisles trying to find seats because they didn't have reservations and quite a few causing problems by taking reserved seats and then giving them up only with great reluctance and disruptive scenes. I will go into detail on my trip report, but don't count on unreserved seats being available.
