Florence has many things to offer. Consequently, in two days you have prioritize your itinerary. But what is your priority?
I had more days in Florence. Even so, I had to concentrate in Renaissance arts. That required foregoing scenery itinerary such as Piazzale Michelangelo or Fiesole. I also had to drop many Medici sites.

Hi John and Katie,
I just noticed all your posts...
My suggestion is you are stopping in way too many places esp. if you will have just thrown a big party back home before you travel. You might be quite tired.
Can you possibly change your itinerary a bit to spend more time in fewer places?
