Ferrari, Lamborghini and Ducati
Hi,
Good Day everybody!
i was just wondering if it is possible to do these 3 (Ferrari, Lamborghini and Ducati) in one day? also if i start my day with bologna central station where should i go first, then where and then where last?
Also I don't prefer tour guides as I like to go on my own speed. As depending on the situation I can spend more time at one place and then exclude something.
one more question though, i will be travelling with my 2 year old kid as well. Is there any entry age limit restriction in any of the museum?

To get to the Ferrari Museum, you would take a train to Modena, and get a shuttle bus to the museum from there.

I believe that you can only visit the museum of Ferrari, not the factory, unless you own a Ferrari.
To get to the Lamborghini Museum, you can take bus number 576, direction Crevalcore, to the town of Sant'Agata Bolognese; the bus leaves from the bus station at Piazza XX Settembre, which is about a 5-minute walk from the train station. The bus trip takes about an hour. I can't find the following page in English; the "English" just takes you to a general tourism page. However, you could paste the URL into translate.google.com .

They say that children under age six can only visit the museum, not the factory.
The Ducati Museum suggests taking a taxi (about €15) from the train station, or else two buses. I also can't find this page in English:

Ducati require that you reserve a visit and take a guided tour. It seems you get to see both the museum and the factory, and it doesn't say anything about minimum ages. It says you have to wear closed shoes.
I think you might be able to fit in two of these, but not three. The Ducati museum is nearest to central Bologna, so maybe you could visit it and just one of the other two. Because it requires a reserved vist, I would go to Ducati first, trying to get the earliest tour possible, and then see if you have time for one of the others.

Thanks bvlenci for such a detailed reply.
I went through the routes early before posting and it was nice to see you assisting like that.
I guess to keep a variety I'll have to make a call between lamborghini and Ferrari.
Has anyone been to either of 3 places? How would you rate these 3 in terms of experience?
