Lamborghini museum/to/from-confused

Ok, I have figured out there there doesn't seem to be a train from Bologna to the Lamborghini factory but it is served by a bus route, problem is that neither the Lamborghini site nor the bus site are very helpful as far as which bus or where to get on/off...HELP!!!

Hi again Leah - The nearest station is San Giovanni in Persiceto, from where there is an occasional bus service to Sant'Agata Bolognese.

http://www.atc.bo.it/orari_percorsi/...pdf#view=FitBH

For train times to San Giovanni in Persiceto go to:
www.trenitalia.com

Alternatively this website says it's a 45 mins bus ride from Bologna main bus station to Sant'Agata Bolognese.

Hope this helps ...

Steve

I think the idea is that if you're going to tour the Lambroghini factory you arrive BY CAR.

I hope you've noticed that you have to contact them in advance to obtain permission to visit the museum. And it's open only from 9 to 12 and 2 to 5.

And I wasn't being facetious - on the site they do say something about "if you choose not to come by car".

I don't see anything about contacting them in advance or having to obtain permission on the sites that I've looked at. I do see that you have to write for a guided tour - is that what you are referring to? As far as the hours - I find that pretty standard for Italy.

If you go to the web site listed above it shows both a factory museum (with 4 days advance notice required and those hours) as well as another museum housed 25km away.

While that website is helpful, it is not the official Lamborghini site which is lamborghini.com
