Favorite restaurants in Barcelona, Seville, Granada, San Sebastian

What are your favorite restaurants in Barcelona, San Sebastian, Seville, and Granada? Reasonably priced please (less than 100E for two people) I will be in Spain for the first time for my honeymoon and looking for recommendations! Thanks in advance!

Casa Urola in San Sebastián is the kind of place locals take visitors to show what the San Sebastián food culture is all about. A must every time in Donostia-San Sebastián, been here almost every year since 1987. Voted best restaurant in the region last year by the local newspaper El Diario Vasco, ahead of all the Michelin places.

I never leave Barcelona without having had lunch or dinner in 7 Portes from 1826, tons of history in the walls, an institution in town, and excellent, traditional food and atmosphere: http://7portes.com/en/

The 175th anniversary in 2011 was a major Barcelona event.

In Madrid, I always come back to Casa Alberto from 1827, also an excellent little tapas bar in front of the restaurant. Popular with both tourists and locals, and a creative touch on traditional dishes: http://www.casaalberto.es/en/

Two people dine for less than 100€ in all three places, and the three restaurants also come recommended by the Guia Repsol, the Spanish equivalent to the Michelin guide.
Casa Urola has got two "soles" (instead of stars)
Casa Alberto has got one sol: https://www.guiarepsol.com/en/gastro...-casa-alberto/

Can only comment on Barcelona:
would go in a heartbeat to any of the following places.

best Tapas restaurant TAPEO DEL BORN / ANEM DE TAPEO. http://www.tapeoborn.cat/home-page.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-MKRTSzEmI
Tomato, burratta cheese salad
Fideua black catalan cuttlefish pasta/paella (really tasty)
Pork ribs (were amazing...but i do not see them on the menu right now)
Eggplant fritters with lime juice sauce
Veal burger with foie gras (we had no room for it, but everyone raves about it.)
Roast sausage and wild mushrooms (just like veal burger could not try but wanted to)
Chocolate cream with bread, salt and olive oil (sounds a bit weird but was very tasty)
Catalan cream dessert
Cava sparkling wine sangria. Yum!

BODEGA LA TINAJA, I think it's like a wine shop/restaurant. the atmosphere in this place was really amazing. I found it by accident while doing Google Map research. I think it used to be the old cellar of a nearby church. Tapas and wine. It's just a few meters away from Tapeo place, the Picasso Museum, and the flamenco place. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restauran...Catalonia.html
at this place you must must MUST... try the PAN CON TOMATO!!!! bread with tomato, garlic, salt and olive oil. Topping with Jamon ham if you want. it's my go-to recipe since I got back from Spain )
Catalan cheese
Jamon
Cod fish spread.
everything was pretty good! But the Pan con Tomato was the BEST..... worth going just for that.

Fancy dinner/lunch at a GAUDI designed restaurant. CASA CALVET. Actually wish that I could use this for our last "farewell" dinner (it was much better than what i ended up with) but our lunch we had here was really nice. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restauran...Catalonia.html

amazign and reasonable flamenco in a super cool surroundings. (2min walk from Tapeo Place, La Tinaja place and from the Picasso museum, all in the same street!) PALAU DALMASES , 20EUR including one drink. When I say a secret place, I am not kidding.. Most people do not know about it and you might easily pass it by if you were not looking for it carefully. http://palaudalmases.com/home/en http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractio...Catalonia.html

At Casa Calvet my main course was so poorly prepared that they were nice enough to take it off the bill. The worst dinner of our trip.

Sorry to hear that RonZ. I can only vouch for our lunch in 2014--perhaps things have changed since then. we had (I think) their daily special --appetiser, main, dessert. I had a rabbit dish as my main and it was really good. I liked the atmosphere of the place.

In Granada, Carmen de Aben Humeya (12 Cuesta de las Tomasas in the Albayzin), complete with killer views of the Alhambra and very good food.

Here is our day in Granada and night there (with photos)...

Thanks everyone! Kimhe, I have written all of those down, thanks!
Minimax, I'm so glad you mentioned the pan con tomato, I had that written down as something I wanted to try so I'm glad there's a good restaurant for it!
Maitaitom, I think I remember reading about that restaurant in your trip report?? It sounds like a must try! Thanks!

Like Minimax, I also very much recommend Tapeo en El Born. Not the place for a romantic sit down meal, but great food, and one of the first things I'll do next time in Barcelona is to have the superb Coca de Sardina tapa here: http://www.tapeoborn.cat/tapeo-del-b...ardina-en.html

Kimhe, I and the ladies with whom I traveled to Barcelona quite often forget what we had for dinner the night before..... but two years after our lunch at Tapeo we Fideua black catalan cuttlefish pasta/paella. They said it was the best dish in 10 days. You can't go wrong with anything at Tapeo., but it's probably better to book. The place is not so big and they are always busy.

As for pan con tomato, you'll probably find it at every place you go. But the way they serve it at BODEGA LA TINAJA was the most fun! And at least for us, the ambiance of La Tanaja was so.... "old Europe". Definitely cannot find anything like that in Tokyo!

kbmtravel, I meant to say "YOU can't go wrong with anything at Tapeo., but it's probably better to book. The place is not so big and they are always busy." As I am sure Kimhe knows the place and reservation system there better than I do

Agree that you can't go wrong with anything at Tapeo, the fideua mentioned above is delicious. Book ahead is the best way, and I think the best thing is to have a seat in the bar, much the way they do it in famous Cal Pep 150 meters down the road.

Speaking of Cal Pep, this tapas bar was ranked #66 restaurant in the world some years ago, and the food is still fabulous, especially the seafood. Get in line at least 15 minutes before opening time to get a seat at the bar where all the fun and action is. People wait in hour long lines along the walls with a drink in their hands to get a bar seat and join the Cal Pep action. Recommend any kinds of seafood here, the monkfish, the tune tartar, the gambas, the langostinos, the clams with ham ahhh... and the butifarra sausage, the tenderloin, also delicious. And the world's best tortilla! Very expensive tapas, but 100€ will give you an excellnt Cal Pep experience, something completely different than going to a restaurant, but the food and atmosphere is plain fabulous:
