Ever heard of Locanda Dell'Amorosa in Tuscany???

I ran across this property in Sinalunga outside Siena and it looks lovely online but wanted to run it by you guru's on the board. Please let me know if you have heard of this place or stayed there and what your thoughts are. Thanks in advance!

Do a search here for that place and you'll find lots of recommendations.

Bari, OMG, I just looked at the web site. It is way out of my price range, but if it were not, I would go and feel I had died and gone to heaven. If you go there, please let us know how it was, and I hope it is just as wonderful as it looks.

Just booked a superior room for 2 nights!!!! We got great rates on our major city hotels through a friends and family program so we felt like we could splurge a bit. I'm sooo excited and will be sure to send a full trip update when we get back in early September. Thanks!!!

Of course, you will love it.
However, it is still a good drive to Siena from there. Take the back roads via Trequanda, Montisi and Santa Anna in Camprena to Pienza for some of the best of rural Tuscany.

bobthenavigator's correct about the distance to/from Siena, but the problem with Dell'Amorosa is not its remoteness. It's that you won't want to leave to go anywhere!

We stayed there about 7 years ago....loved it! It is a stunning property with a restaurant that was very good back then.
It is in an area that is not particularly attractive but the views inside the complex are lovely.
