Estimate of a taxi from Victoria Station to W. Kensington
Does someone have an idea of how much to expect for a taxi from Victoria Station to West Kensington London around 11 am on a weekday?

No guarantees - traffic etc could make it a bit more - but that site is useful for ballpark figures. West Kens is on a direct tube line from Victoria so depending on how far you'll be from the West Kensington tube station it is a very easy journey. Presumably since you will have arrived at Victoria by train, it sounds like your luggage might be manageable on the tube.

My point was -- until one is on the journey the congestion/traffic at a specific time isn't known. So yes - it does give a range. What you'll actually pay could be different.
In the last year I've taken a cab ride that cost £11 once and more than £20 for the exact same journey a few months later.

What a great website Dukey! Thanks for sharing...last week I took at cab from London City airport to South Kensington...cost £65
I just searched it on your web site and it estimates between £45 for light traffic and £85 for heavy...our journey was very heavy to start with until around the tower area and then lightened up, so cost seems spot on to this site...we did it in the early morning....
