I like to be slightly ahead of time constraints and would most definitely be there about an hour before departure time. This leaves me in a relaxed mood and when things almost get down to the wire I am still cool!
Picking up your tickets should be no problem - present the same credit card to be on the safe side. Your tickets should be in an envelope with your details unless things have changed drastically and the attendant just prints one out on his/her computer?!
Enjoy the ride! I love Eurostar ( actually I love any train as we don't have that comuter luxury here).

Hi C,

Good advice from tod.

Eurostar likes you to have your tickets 0:45 hr before boarding time, because you have to go through security like an airline.

I'd get to the staion an hour in advance.

My wife would get there 2 hr in advance.

Enjoy your trip.

In May of 2006, we picked our tickets up at the Eurostar terminal in London about one hour before. A nice young woman employed by the terminal helped us retrieve our tickets from the machine by having us use the same credit card we charged it on.

i travel on the eurostar very often and pick up my tickets each time. it has never taken more than about 10 minutes. i would aim to arrive 45 min as minimum but i would aim for 1 hour, if you have not done this before.

it should be noted that the st pancras eurostar terminal is very poorly marked if arriving into the st pancras tube and distances are great.

We just did that this month. Booked tickets on line from Canada with a visa card. Printed out confirmation number thinking we would need it, HA. Walked up to the automated machines in St Pancras just to the right of the human powered ticket office. Stuck in visa card. Pressed ok several times after reading confirmation info. Out popped tickets.
Slickest operation I have seen.
