Dubrovnik/Croatia in November
Hi Everyone.
I am considering visiting Dubrovnik and perhaps other areas of Croatia in November. Has anyone done this same type of trip at that time of year? I'm finding airline connections to be a bit complicated for November. What might I expect weather-wise, please? Are most facilities open at that time of year as well? Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I went last year towards the end of November to Dubrovnik and Split. Weather was very pleasant- around 50-55 degrees F as a high, and if memory serves, that's around the average (check-able on weather.com). Had a quilted jacket, but was able to wear just a sweater when the sun was out.
Everything in both Dubrovnik and Split- restaurants, museums, shops, markets- were open, and we found it a very enjoyable trip. Having been there when it was low season, I'm now spoiled and not sure how much I would like it crowded. For examples, we walked the wall first thing in the morning with only a couple of other people around, and had a beer at Buza with the place almost to ourselves enjoying the surf. Have fun- Dubrovnik is a GORGEOUS city.

I believe that Fodorite tcreath went to Croatia in November a couple of years ago. She always posts really detailed and informative trip reports. Try searching for "tcreath" and "croatia" and see if you can pull up her report
