Hi, does anyone have recommendations from personal experience for drivers to hire for the day in the Naples area, and also out of Messina in Sicily (we want to go from Messina to Taormina, and anywhere else we can do in a few hours) If you can give us an idea of what to expect cost-wise that would be great. We did this back in '93, but times have changed!

Giovanni Benvenuto was very reliable, friendly, and a safe driver for our day-tour along the Amalfi coast area. www.benvenutolimos.com It's a family business. Prices are higher in high season. His English is excellent, and he knows interesting stories about the area. The price is higher for 5 people because it costs more to get the mini-van...it was about 350 euros for the day last June, I think (high season)...It would have been less money to hire a smaller vehicle.

We used Giovanni from www.tourofitaly.com in October. He picked us up in Naples and took us on a full day tour of the Amalfi coast. There were six of us in the van and the cost, including tip, was 300 Euros.
