Distance between Cruise Ship port and center of Town (Copenhagen)

Distance between Cruise Ship port and center of Town (Copenhagen)
I am just wondering how far it is from say Tivoli to the area that the ships dock. WE are hopefully going to stay at the Palace in Copenhagen or the Grand Hotel and was wondering distance to dock/ship area.

We stayed at the Admiral Hotel, very nice indeed in what was once an old warehouse right on the harbor and thus not far from Nyhavn. In fact, when we took the night ferry to Oslo we simply walked over to the boat. As for your hotel, it must be at the other end of the pedestrian walkway (stroget) if near Tivoli. A bit too far to walk...how about a water taxi?
