Discovery walks of Paris and My Hush Hush Paris

Has anyone had experience with either the Discovery Walks of Paris(no charge, but a tip is expected) or My Hush Hush Paris tours(20E) or cooking class (99E)? I have read favorable reviews of both on TA, but when I typed either into the "search" on this site it turned up nothing.

I've never heard of them, FFF. We've mainly done Paris Walks, which have been around forever, and Cook'n With Class (when Eric was just starting the business out).

I've never head of these companies. I've done about a dozen Paris Walks tours including a bus tour. Paris Walks is a great company, professional, knowledgeable, certified guides and the price is affordable. Their tours are 2 hours, the price is E12, and you don't have to book ahead - just show up and pay your money. Hush Hush is a 1.5 hour tour for E20.

We have found ParisWalks to be wonderful (LondonWalks, too) and a nice way to focus on a given neighborhood or theme.

Did you mean "Discover Walks" (as opposed to <u>"Discovery</u> Walks")?

Now that I think about it, my youngest did take a few of those when she was living abroad. They are run by Paris citizens. She liked them.

AlessandraZoe-I stand corrected, it is Discover Walks.

well, I've heard of the Discover Walks but not the Hush Hush one. But I've never taken either so cannot comment directly. The Discover Walks are not much of a commitment, at least in tmers of money. I would tip 10 euro, that is what most guides charge for a couple hour limited area group tour in Paris (eg, those registered with the city and who can advertise under Conferences in Pariscope, etc.). I've done those several times, but they are always in French.
