There are too many possibilities. It all depends on what you want to see or do. Chartres, Rouen, Amiens for cathedrals and medieval centers. Lille 55 minutes by TGV for Flemish architecture. Deauville for a taste of a seaside resort.... And that's just a start.

Chatou, a ten minute ride on the RER to see the Restaurant Fournaise which is a replica of the one that Renoir painted one of his famous works.You can have lunch or dinner there overlooking the Seine.
Auvers-sur-Oise, a 30-40 minute ride on the Gare Nord train to see a Van Gogh museum, the burial site of the Van Goghs, an Impressionists city.
