Day trip to Loch Leven from Edinburgh
Help! We are planning a return trip to Edinburgh in the spring. We are fans of Mary Queen of Scots and as a result would like to get to Lochleven Castle (via Kinross-I'm guessing) on public transportation. I have been able to find a bus from Edinburgh to Kinross on City Link but there is no notation of the stop or how to get to the boat launch site (for transport to the castle). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Slainte!

Just follow the signs as it's signposted from the centre of Kinross. You go down the imaginatively named "Pier Road". Just Google the map of Kinross - and if you need more just click on the streetview
