The railway's web site (www.cp.pt) is in English as well as Portuguese - just click on the little flag at the top of the screen.
The second-class fare from Lisboa to Porto seems to be 28.50 euros by Intercidade, or 36 or 39.50 euros in an Alfa Pendular train.

Our train trip, this past June, from Porto to Lisbon cost us just under $25 pp. We walked up to counter the day before our trip and bought our tickets - super easy. Just make sure you bring a phrase book just in case you need it.
