Copenhagen hotel or apt. for 3 people

I am having trouble locating a hotel for three people in Copenhagen. I know it is early to look for apartments for next summer, but the ones I have contacted have at least a 3 night stay, and we will be only two nights.

If we want a centrally located place to stay, what neighborhoods should I be looking at?

It also seems many hotels are described as loud, as they are located on a busy street, and on warm summer nights with the windows open, one can hear a lot of street noise.

Any quiet hotel suggestions for 3 people? Thanks.

We stayed at Best Western Hebron. It is in a convenient location, near train, Tivoli Gardens and Storget. and our room had been recently remodeled. I actually got it using Hotwire. I asked for a remodeled room and got it. Breakfast was good and included.

This rate was available and is a great deal, assuming one of the 3 is "child"

suggest Ibsen's Hotel, away from city noise, near the lakes and easy walk to Norreport in the middle of town. Big, airy rooms, excellent breakfasts. Many in our family have booked it and all were satisfied....

I forgot to include the most important part of Hotel Hebron. Per OP - the windows in the room we had opened onto a lovely, large interior courtyard! Oh, I also realized that we asked for a room with a remodeled, updated BATHROOM. And the room was huge and would easily take that extra bed for 3rd person.

We were just there a few weeks ago, and had three of us in one hotel room (2 adults and one teen). We stayed at the Square Hotel (http://www.thesquare.dk). Our room had the typical two twin beds pushed together and another pull-out type of bed for our daughter. The Square hotel is in a great location just across the street from the City Hall and steps from The Tivoli. We walked everywhere. It was very hot when we were in Copehnhage, and A/C was an issue. The hotel has A/C, but we still slept with the windows open at night to have a breeze. Our room was not on the street, so we had no issues with noise. The room price included a nice breakfast each morning.

As you are aware, restaurants are expensive in Copenhagen. We found this great place for dinner called Tight. Reasonable prices and excellent food.

Right across from train station is Anderson's Bakery. Great for pastries, lunch (take away food too). It is right near Tivoli as well.

Debit is not kidding - restaurants are REALLY expensive!

If you are looking to splurge, we also ate at a wonderful restaurant:

I appreciate all the info here - by emailing the hotel, I was able to book a 3 person room at Hotel Hebron.

And I am definitely taking note of the restaurant suggestions - thanks, all.
