Cheap British Airways flights

I just received an email from BA with these great rates (one way): NY - London: $99; Boston-Munich: $164; Baltimore-Athens: $211; SF - Barcelona: $245; Chicago - Rome: $237. Rates are good Oct 30-April 4, 2004 (with exception of Dec 18 - 23). Their web site is www.britishairways.com, if anyone is interested.

I received an email from Fare Watcher today with the same BA info, saying I could fly from PIT to CDG for ~$300. When I entered the dates, etc., I got a message saying that BA doesn't have any flights from PIT to CDG. Go figure.

HI --I tried it as well and the prices that I came up with on the BA site using the places and dates they suggested were about $1000 a ticket--it must be quite limited in terms of seats and flights.

I guess it's the old "bait and switch" routine. We should all remember this about BA next time we plan to purchase tickets for Europe!!

It is very limited to specific days from where I am flying. $188 one way on one day, $1200 on the next day and $800 the day after that.

These fares are available. They don't include taxes and are usually for travel on Tues-Thurs. Grandmere, you can probably get the $300 fare (plus at least $100 in added taxes) if you're willing to change planes. Maybe you clicked 0 connections? I'd suggest calling BA before giving up.
