Chamonix to Paris
Hello!
what is the best way to travel by train from Chamonix to Paris?
I have been researching and this is what I got:
Chamonix to St Gervais le Baines then St Gervais les Baines to Paris Gare de Lyon
I just want to confirm if this is correct.
Any reccomendations will be appreciated.

If you have a car, I would drive to Annecy, return the car (stow the bags at the rental office), visit, then take the train to the Gare de Lyon in Paris. We did this last year after a week in the Chamonix area..

I don't have a car so i will be relying on public transport only. I looked in bahn.de website and I will need to change trains twice.
1. Chamonix Mont Blanc to St Gervais les Bains
2. St Gervais les Bains to Bellegarde
3. Bellegarde to Gare de Lyon TGV

Bahn.de (de as in Deutschland) is the German train website. The French trains are at www.sncf.com
Bahn.de is quite good with timetables of countries other than Germany, but occasionally they miss something, so go with the entity that actually runs the trains you'll be using.
