We will not have time to see both Postojana and Skocjan caves on our visit to Slovenia.
Please tell me the cave you enjoyed more and why. I know this is subjective but your comments will help me make my choice. I have seen websites on both but could not make a choice. Thanks!

Postojana...because we didn't go to the other one. We thought it was fun and informative, plus your skin will be 20 years younger after you go. Be sure to duck on the little train ride back and forth.

I went to the Skocjan caves - awesome! Unfortunately, I didn't go to Postojna, so I can't compare.
I only went to Postojana and really liked them.
It seems that most travelers were in the same situation I find myself not enough time to see both. The good news is everyone liked the one they saw.
No lose situation?
"No lose situation?"

That's what I would think. Have some kremna rezina in Bled.
I am looking forward to my first taste of Kremna rezina.
I'm biased because my family is from Prekmurje, but Gibanica is far superior to Bled's Kremsnita. And as everyone else said, both caves are great. Enjoy your time in Slovenia.
I believe I will have time to try both the Kremna rezina and the Gibanica. I bet this will be another no lose situation.
Then wash them down with a shot of Slivovitz. Medics standing by!

The big difference between Postoja cave and Skocjan caves is in the price - Postojna cave is more expensive, but you get the train ride. Skocjan caves are cheaper, but you have to walk all the way. Because they are both Karst caves, everything else is pretty much the same.
Lipe,
Thanks for your reply, It does make sense that they would be very similar. I think I will see how much walking we have done and how much cake we have eaten and make our decision while we are there.
Thanks!
