Car Rental in Croatia

I know I have discovered over the years a few car rental agencies in Italy that were far cheaper for an automatic than some of the major ones. Does anyone have recommendations for a car rental agency in Croatia?

Why don't you get it here in USA to pick up in Croatia? We got good deal from Kemwell for a Hertz and it has zero deductible and we hit a May sale. You may ask for sale as they gave me sale price for extra day we tucked onto order just the other day, (in June). Picking mine up in Rome, Italy in mid August. Good luck and enjoy Croatia!

We always go with AutoEurope. They also match prices if you find cheaper elsewhere.

Last October I used

www.economycarrentals.com

They were cheaper than most of the others, and more importantly allowed me to take the car on ferries and to drive Bosnia and Montenegro for the cost of the cross-border card.

The service was good, the car I was given was only a year old and in good condition. In fact it was an upgrade and a little bigger than I would have liked! I returned it with a long mark down one side (which must have happened when I left it parked somewhere) and they just shrugged and said 'it will come off in the wash, don't worry'.

I would use them again.
