Cab price in Copenhagen

Does any one know how much is the price for a cab from airport to city center?

Many thanks in advance.

I don't know about the price for a cab but they have a great train that goes from the airport to downtown that is really inexpensive and probably much faster than a cab. I think it took 12 minutes and leaves the airport 5 times each hour. We just got our credit card statement and I think it was less than $10 US for 2 people.

The train is very quick. I don't know how much the cab is.

But if you take the train, you can buy a 24h ticket good for Greater Copenhagen that will cover the train ride to the city (which you can then use within the city). This can be useful if you plan to make a day trip (to Frederiksborg, for example).

Buying a round-trip for the airport will not save you money. I actually wasted money this way, as I bought a 24h ticket that I could have used for my return to the airpot, and it was not possible to get a refund.

If memory serves, yes, a round-trip for the airport was about 50 DKK per person.

So less than 10 US.

Recently, it cost me DKK 200, exactly, for a taxi from Kastrup (airport) to Rådhuspladsen (city center). That's the norm for a metered taxi in light/medium traffic conditions during daytime hours. (Late night/very early morning would have surcharges.)

If I took the train to the downtown station, could I then get a cab to the Strand? And do you think it would be much cheaper than just forgetting the train and taking a taxi right from the aiprort? Don't want to do a lot of changes on trains, buses and walking cause I have a long walk with short connecting time at CDG and will probably be exhausted! Thanks for your help.
