Burgundy for NYE 2014/2015

Hello Fodorites

No big trip report this time around, but we spent a week in the lovely town of Beaune from 27 Dec 2014 - 4 Jan 2015. Spent the week enjoying all the lovely food and wine.

If you are interested, photos can be found here:

Happy New Year everyone!

Lovely pictures as usual, jamikins. We spent one day in Beaune, mostly visiting the Hotel-Dieu, in September. I was awe struck.

<<why none of you?>>

Because she was taking all of the pictures while "the other one" was eating and drinking!

Beautiful. And looks so cold,... we've been sweltering, so a very refreshing distraction.
You are a talented photographer, have enjoyed 'wandering' through your lovely albums.

Thanks so much everyone! Glad you enjoyed the pics!

It has been very cold here compared to London - but very enjoyable!

No pics of me because these are from my camera - but Scott has some on his. Once he has them uploaded I will share the link! But yes, he did a lot of eating and drinking hahaha!!

Happy new year!

Great pictures, I really enjoyed seeing Beaune like that. Now I feel sad I didn't know you were staying in Beaune because we could have met right next to my place here https://www.flickr.com/photos/pug_gi...57647659760923.! I guess you're leaving today (with milder temperatures and a beautiful sunshine). If you ever stop in Dijon to get your train this afternoon and have an hour to kill let me know!
