Burgundy by boat (and a day in Troyes)
If any Fodorites have seen Burgundy (well, at least a tiny bit in the region's northwest) from the Yonne river and Nivernais canal, they were silent on my request for information (http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...o-migennes.cfm), so this trip may be a first for those here. The self-drive boat experience in France was our first, and for nautical novices like us, quite an interesting experience. The brief Troyes day was more conventional travel, by train from Paris.
It's all described in my usual phototravelogue style: simply go to my Google+ page at https://plus.google.com/u/0/101474843143134673458/posts and find the 2014 Burgundy album at the top, and click on the first picture to get the captions started.
There is also a YouTube video of various scenes on the water at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BY7J...ature=youtu.be
