I would like to visit Normandy from Brussels for the weekend of November 9-11, 2012. We have arranged a private tour for Nov 10 and 11. What is the best and fastest way to travel from Brussels to Normandy? Shortest travel time has a higher priority than cost.
The guide will pick us up from any location but we prefer to stay in Bayeux at the Churchill Hotel, unless you have other recommendations based on train arrival cities.

Take the Thalys from Brussels to Paris, disembarking at the Gare du Nord. Take metro or a cab to Gare Lazare, and then take a regional train to Bayeux.
