Best Place to Get Married in Tuscany?

Hi all,
My fiancee and I want to get married somewhere in Tuscany next year. We are Catholic, so we would like to get married in a Church and we will be in Tuscany in March scouting out places. Any ideas of great places would be very much appreciated!

The only weddings (2) that I have personally attended in Tuscany were civil ceremonies. In Italy (as in most of EU, I think) you will need a civil ceremony (the official wedding) prior to having a church service.

Leaving aside the larger churches, I know of 2 adorable chapels you might want to investigate. One is on the estate called La Campana on the road between Asciano and Monteroni d'Arbia just a little south of Siena. It's on most detailed maps and is a large estate/rental property consisting of the main villa and then a number of lovely apartments. There was a small wedding in the chapel while I was staying there last summer. There is a rental office on the property to don't hesitate to go up the drive and have a look.

The other chapel I find very dreamy is on the grounds of the hotel Locanda dell'Amorosa just outside Sinalunga. I've seen 3 wedding parties there in the past 5 years so I somewhat assume the hotel helps with the arrangements. One of my favorite spots--many fans here at Fodors--so definitely worth scouting. Happy hunting!

Someone mentioned having a wedding in Leonardo da Vinci's childhood home so that must be in Vinci near Florence, right?!? Does that count for Tuscany??
