Beaches/Hotel Near Barcelona for Honeymoon

Hi-

My husband and I are looking for a beach near Barcelona to spend the last leg of our honeymoon. We are hoping for somewhere relatively relaxed, with a nice beach, and things to do like shopping and restaurants. We want to be within a train/bus ride to the city, so that we can go into the city during the day. We also want to be able to have a simple way to get back to the airport.

Any suggestions for either town or a particular hotel that would be great for a honeymoon? Amenities such as umbrellas/chairs, spa, room service, pool/hot tub, pool bar etc are valued if available.

The Hotel Arts comes to mind immediately. The place is pricey but you should at least check out the possibility.

That hotel looks beautiful, but is quite expensive. We were looking for something a little less expensive.

Unfortunately I do not since I have always stayed in the city and never at the Arts BTW but am sure someone else will reply with better information for you...

Sitges looks nice and seems to have a lot of hotels. Does anyone have a recommendation on one?

The beach at the Hotel Arts is clothing optional.

Take a look at the Hotel Platjador in Sitges. It's just across the street from the beach and gets very good reviews.
