BARCELONA - Where to stay before flight home

I'm having hard time deciding where to stay our last night in Barcelona.

We arrive by Ferry around 6.05 pm on a Monday and our flight is on Tuesday at 11:00 am.
Where would it be a good place to stay our last night that is central enough and easy access to airport for next morning?

I was looking on staying in Castelldefels in an apt, but it seems it's a little out of the way.
In 2010 we stayed in Barceloneta and it was extremely loud, don't want to repeat.

Any place centrally located has easy access to the airport. Staying in an apartment for one night doesn't make sense. Hotels are much better equiped to handle a one-night stay.

Not knowing you budget, all I can sya is to check what's available at booking.com. You might find something you like and fits your style, something quieter then what you had in Barceloneta.

For the 4 of us its too expensive to stay in an hotel. Reason why I'm looking for a short term stay in a central apartment, not sure of the area yet.

I'm surprised that you can find an apartment for one night. You can get good deals at the airport hotels and, sure, there are good reasons for that! However, if you check in, take the shuttle or a cab (25 euro) into town (6-7 miles), do whatever you want with the evening/night, then simply sleep and shower near BCN, you'll be good to go for your morning flight.

Friends of ours stayed at Apartamentos Turisticos Madanis. They have 3 kids under 10. She said they paid under $115.00 per night for the five of them. Good luck.
