Barcelona-Anything to reserve in advance?
My family thought I was so brilliant to have reserved the Borghese, Academia, Uffizi, etc. in advance of our trip to Italy. Of course, I just did what y'all told me to do!
Is there anything in Barelona that should be reserved in advance? If all goes well, we'll be there in mid-March.
It would be great to see a performance at the Palau de la Musica Catalana, but their website keeps being down. I'll keep trying.

missypie,
Keep trying the Palau de la Música Catalana. Also check the performance schedule for your dates at the opera house, Gran Teatre del Liceu. They have their schedule up for March '07 www.liceubarcelona.com

El Bulli has always been a 6 month per year operation, the other 6 being for study. Reservations are not yet being accepted, but if you want them, you have to work it.
Seeing a performance at the Palau is not as amazing as going on the tour. Well, if it is actually a performance you want to see then yes, but just going for the actual building is a little silly. Once the lights go down, you realize that turn of the century means "uncomfortable seating."
I would have hotel reservations for sure, but most other attractions are easy to get into. As for restaurants, well, if there is something you really want to try, go ahead and try to make a reservation and if they don't take them, know that you will just have to try when you get there, and if they do, well, then you are in!
