Any recent visitors to Aran Sweater Market Inis Mor Island, Ireland?

When in Galway I am thinking of taking the ferry to the Aran Sweater Market on Inis Mor Island.
Do you think it is worth the trip particularly if not going also for other sights on the Island?

Can anyone compare the market on the island with the shop in Killarney? https://www.aransweatermarket.com/store-locations

Thank you!

I think it is about the same but I loved Inishmor. I bought baby items from a little lady knitting and selling herself on the way to Dun Aengus Fort. A little group of shops before you go up. I live in Fl so tend to not buy thick woolen sweaters or pay much attention to them. Anyhow, it is worth a visit.

There are many good reasons to visit Inismore. The Aran Sweater Market is well short of being sufficient reason to make the trip. You can get similar merchandise at similar prices in many locations.

That said, it's not a bad shop.

This is a very good family-run shop in Galway, which sells traditional Irish clothes, Aran sweaters, etc.:

I have bought from the Aran Sweater Shop over the Internet with complete satisfaction, so I wouldn't 't make that my reason for going there.

No, I do not have any connection with the company except as a customer. I learned about it from Muffy Aldrich's "Daily Prep" (now "Saltwater New England" blog.

As Padraig said, there are many other reasons to visit the lovely place. The market is nice, and has a great selection - but you can get similar items elsewhere in Ireland.

I stayed on Inis Mor three nights on my last trip, and it was delightful!
