Airport shuttles
Has anyone ever had any bad experience with the airport shuttle service at: http://www.prague-airport-shuttle.com/, I emailed but never received a reply or confirmation and ended up using my hotel's shuttle service. Was wondering whether Hotmail was blocking the messages since I had a similar problem with emails from my tour guide in Prague.

More likely than not, they don't even read their e-mail. That's typical of many of the shuttle services and even the hotels. For any of these, you will be more successful by faxing, which they will certainly notice. Failing that, which is unlikely, you can call. E-mail, at best, is iffy since many have e-mail addresses but don't check their mailboxes.

I am sorry that we were not able to provide you with your airport transfers. We receive many, many e-mails a day and reply to each one. The only time we may not reply is if you reserve less than 12 hours before your arrival time and we point that out on our website.
It would be rather silly for any company that is reliant on the internet to attract customers (although I am very pleased to say more than 35% of our business comes from recomendations - do a search on Fodors and you will see several very nice (BLUSH) comments on our service) to not reply to their e-mails or for that matter "check their e-mail boxes".
I might add that we have had problem recently as one of our e-mail addresses was "spoofed" by a worm virus spreader and was blocked by several ISP's.

Unusual to say the least. Could have been a problem with e-mail, but I continue to recommend that anyone looking for reservations fax rather than e-mail. Faxes are always seen and responded to relatively quickly. E-mails may or may not get responses and not necessarily without delay.

I can speak from personal experience, having used them the weekend of 1st May.
They were great - answered email promptly, even had a photo of the billboard where they stand and wait! I think it was Chris himself who was waiting for us, and he provided a huge amount of info as he drove us to the hotel (Chris, if you're still monitoring we loved the 'Green Soldier' restaurant that you recommended, whose Czech name I cannot remember at present).
When we returned to the airport at the end of our break (which went by far too fast), we had a German guy rather than Chris. He was very prompt and courteous, and very interested in what we had seen and enjoyed/not enjoyed. I mentioned a reasonably priced restaurant that we had happened on close to Powder Gate and enjoyed, but I could not remember its name. Once I'd descibed the location his immediate reaction was 'I must go and find it so that we can tell other people about it'.
All-in-all, great service at a reasonable price.
