Aidez moi, SVP! Bonnieux to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue?
Au secours! Aidez moi, s'il vous plait...
Calling all Provence gurus to weigh in on whether there is public transportation between Bonnieux and Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.
Our "ride" for the week is taking her car and going elsewhere on the sole Sunday we could visit the famed Isle-sur-la-Sorgue market.
Since our teleportation capabilities are currently offline (nudge! wink!) how do we get there?
A thousand thanks...

Here is a page showing bus lines: http://tinyurl.com/g7cly. At a quick glance, I didn't see a route that would work for you; but you may find something if you look more closely. Or you could call the bus station in Avignon for more information. The number is on the page.

I can't give you specifics, and it probably won't be very efficient, but there certainly is a way to get there by public transportation. They have bus service to Bonnieux and both bus and train to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, so it can be done, obviously.
There may no direct route, but I believe one method is to take the bus from Bonnieux to Cavaillon and there is a bus from Cavaillon to Carpentras which stops in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. There may be other choices, I don't know. For example, if there is a bus to Avignon, you can take the train to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue from there.

I just wanted to chime in and say that my husband and I have been to the market at Isle-sur-la-Sorge. It's unique and the town is quite charming with small water canals running thru it. It's a great way to spend a Sunday! I hope you find a way to get there.

For bus service you can contact the following site: http://www.vaucluse.fr/pages/page/num/30/lan/1#Anc165
It looks like your best bet is to take line 22.1 to Cavaillon and then transfer to line 18. If you click on Plan du Réseau, you'll get the map of all the bus lines.
