3 Months in Europe (25 April - 24 July 2015)
Hello everyone!
I have been procrastinating for over a year now on travelling around West and East Europe for 3 months. Would this be a good idea for a solo female traveller? Accommodation wise, I am undecided - www.airbnb,com or www.couchsurfing.org?
I planned to begin my journey in London, and ending in Warsaw. Coming from Singapore, most of my friends suggest that I join Contiki for their 'The Big Chill' package - http://www.contiki.com/destinations/...-the-big-chill. I find that their itinerary is a little rush!
Other than that, I'm would be keen to get some me advice on itinerary, feasibility and any tips anyone may have. I am okay with stretching the trip beyond 3 months.
Biggest thanks!

You might be OK with extending it beyond 3 months but once into mainland Europe the authorities will have a problem due to the Schengen agreement.
Contiki has a reputation that their trips aimed at the younger end of the market are a bit of "party bus".
Rather than couchsurfing or random people with a room have you considered hostels?

You need to give some indication of budget if you want to get advice on accomodation during a 3 month trip.
You need to indicate whether you understand the Schengen 90 day rule or not.
You need to say what passport you will be travelling on.
YOu need to indicate what your interests are. Contiki is definitely for partiers, not someone interested in history and architecture who wants to spend a week in Rome for example.

Agree that you need to do some investigation - and provide answers to some of these questions for people to help you.
Can't imagine that couchsurfing will work - you're just going to stay in a series of apartments of people you know nothing about for months on end??? Sounds like a definite recipe for trouble.
