Resort-Like Cruise Recommendations?

Resort-Like Cruise Recommendations?
Hello, <BR><BR>Neither my husband nor I have ever taken a cruise, but he really wants to. We've been to several adult-only, all-inclusive resorts (most recently Sandals Royal Bahamian). Can anyone tell me what cruise line offers cruises closest to the resort experience? We'd prefer no kids as well as all-inclusive (including drinks...is this rare?) but don't care when or where we travel. Thanks for any suggestions!

The ones where kids are LESS likely to be on are : Windstar,Crystal and Seabourn...<BR><BR>The one that has all inclusive liquor is Seabourn...and the Sea Dream.<BR><BR>All of the above are rather pricey and extremely upscale....The oldest child I saw on Windsurf was 21....<BR><BR>The average ages are 35-65--all fairly well travelled and upscale people...<BR><BR>The WINDSURF( part of Winstar line) is the only CASUAL elegant cruise of all the above ships-- We LOVED the Windsurf as hubs did NOT want to cart around a tux or suit ,but he did want a small upscale cruise line...It also has a marina that is part of the ship that drops down to offer water sports-kayaking,windsurfing etc..<BR><BR>All of the above have open seating dining.....<BR><BR>You will like ALL the above cruise lines!!

For a less expensive alternative, checkout the Celebrity Escape cruises for adults only at www.celebritycruises.com.

Silverseas is another with less children. Plus destination and time of year may dictate how many children are on board as well as the on-board activities catered to children. School vacation time you would want to stay away from the mainstream cruise lines for sure. But during non-school vacation, a line like Holland America can have few children like some of the luxury lines (i.e., Silverseas, Seabourne etc)

Just got back from a Radisson Seven Seas Cruise and LOVED it! The food was delicious, the rooms unbelievably comfortable and we were treated wonderfully. Pretty much all inclusive so we didn't feel nickeled and dimed to death. <BR><BR>check them out at www.rssc.com
