Has anyone cruised on the Regal Pincess lately. I would love to hear about your impressions of this ship. We will be cruising on this ship in May on a Baltic cruise to Scandinavia/Russia. If anyone has done this cruise please let me know how you liked it.<BR>Thanks, Minuteman

We cruised the Baltic this past June on the Regal Princess, and had a wonderful time! I suspect how good a time you will have will depend more on your own attitude than on the ship you take, but the Regal Princess has a hospitable ambiance and is a very comfortable ship to cruise on.

I went to Alaska on the Regal Princess in June 2000. I loved the ship. There is a "hidden" observation area at the front of the ship that was not on the ship map. I read about it in a book and had to find it by asking the staff. I went there everyday (once at 4 AM for the sunrise)and loved it because not too many people knew about it. Have a great time!!

We cruise alot - several lines - Celebrity, Radisson, Holland and Princess. If you have any other choice I would avoid Princess. They are by far the worse if you have any issues. Do not forget that you pay 100% in advance so if any issues arise you are dependent upon the Cruise line. All most all the lines will help you except for Princess.

The Regal Princess is one of the oldest ships in their fleet. While it is not overwhelming, it is comfortable as some others have noted. It's sister ship, the Crown Princess has been retired. I must question "NeedAdvice's" remark about having issues. I have found Princess personal to be very friendly. If Princess leaves one with "issues," please don't even think about trying Carnival.
