Anybody Know of a 2 Day Cruise from Ft Lauderdale to Nassau?
Hello, All.
My boss has given me the task of researching a 2 day cruise for our entire office staff (28 adults + 8 children) to the Bahamas from FLL as opposed to hosting the annual holiday party we have at their country club.
I've gone on a few cruise sites, but the ones I've checked seem to have 3 - 6 day cruisings. Can anyone tell me of a cruise line that leaves FLL to the Bahamas for a 2 day sailing (Friday to Sunday)?
Thanks so much for any help!

There is also a small line called imperial majesty cruise line that offers two night cruises. You can see them at www.imperialmajesty.com
I'd be careful however of setting this up and creating expectations of what most people think of as a "cruise".
If they are expecting what they've seen on commercials and then get on one of these older ships with extremely limited resources, you might not look so good in the bosses eyes.
The line I listed for example has only one ship and its over 50 years old. While it has a few people who like the old classic ship, please know that it is nothing like modern day mega ships. I think that the last national agent that would book them was cruise.com and I think they have even dropped bookings with them because of disappointed customers.
Good luck in whatever you find.

My friends took a "cruise" on one of the ships that Hold describes and were throwing up all the time because of the stormy weather and lack of ship stabilizers. Why not take a 3-day cruise on a good ship? Probably it would be the same or almost the same price. Well, I guess one more day has to be a work day so it could be a problem.

Thanks, everyone. Turns out the cruise line my boss wants to take is Royal Caribbean (Majesty of the Seas?). Apparently, they have a 3 day cruise that goes to Coco Cay and Nassau. Now if I can pull this off and get the entire office staff and their significant others to agree to a date...
