Wyndham and Radisson?? Opinions?
I was looking into planning a vacation in Aruba around April or May. The Wyndham seems to offer better deals than the rest of the hotels. Can anyone tell me more about it and if it is a nice place to stay?? The Radisson sounds really nice. Any opinions on the two would help. What is the best hotel for the best deal?

We stayed at the Wyndham in Sept last year. It was very nice, great service. If you decide on Wyndham, join the Wyndham by Request and add that to your reservation. YOu will receive a room upgrade if available and munchies and drinks in your room upon arrival.
We like the hotel. There are several restaurants there so if you don't feel like going out you can have chinese, sushi, asian, italian, etc.
The pool is nice the beach is nice. IMHO all those hotels are basically the same. I go with the best price, us the money you save to rent a car and explore Aruba.
Peace, Greenie

The Wyndham and the Radisson are both good choices with the Radisson being a higher end resort and also one that has been tototally renovated within the last 5 years. Wyndham is more compact as opposed to the Radisson which is more spread out.
Check out the prices at www.travelunlimited.com as they offer great rates and their packages included full buffet breakfast daily and a food and beverage credit at both Wyndham and Radisson.

We stayed at the Wyndham Aruba in December. I gave the hotel three out of five stars on TripAdvisor. My likes: very nice rooms, overall clean facility, lots of restaurant choices, good deal. My dislikes: expensive once you're there ($7-8 drinks, food, in-room movies -- all cost a lot!), the beach was not as nice as other hotels, including the Radisson. It was windier and had an oil-tinged odor. We actually hung out at the Radisson beach most days.
However, I don't think you'll go wrong choosing either. We chose the Wyndham because it was quite a bit cheaper than other nice hotels at the time, and we certainly don't regret it. I agree with previous writer -- sign up for ByRequest at least a couple weeks before you go.
Have fun!
