What's Nevis like?

I have been to Nevis twice. (1995 & 1996) Both times I stayed at the Four Seasons. I loved it. The food was wonderful and it was absolutely luxurious. Since then, it has been updated tremendously because it was ravaged by hurricane. From what I understand, it is now better than before. I don't know much about the island besides the Four Seasons. My husband loved the 4 seasons golf course. He went exploring a little and liked the scenery. We ate off of the resort one evening and liked it.

If you are interested in the Four Seasons resort in Nevis, go www.fourseasons.com. I checked on the website for prices in July and the rooms were starting at $450 at night. You can't find a betterr resort than the Four seanson but it is very pricey!!

Lorraine,

The launch is very elegant. I have been both during the day and at night, and it is very nice. (And imho, a much better option than the teeny plane you take otherwise!)
If the water is rough - unlikely this time of year - the FS will put you on a plane.
The launch is very "Fantasy Island," and you get a nice view of the resort from the water as you approach. Enjoy!

I am going to four seasons nevis in july. The rates are $325/nt for mountainview or $350/nt for oceanview. I reserved the bread & breakfast package because you also get breakfast for the same rack rates listed above. With taxes/service charges the rooms are approximately $394/nt mtnvw or $425/nt ocvw including daily breakfast for the package deal.
