I have read that there is a 30 day commentary period before any executive order he signs goes into effect.
Hope you were astute enough to take out cancel for any reason trip insurance.
Also, any roll back of direct flights/cruises from the US to Cuba still seems to leave the old routes through Mexico and Canada, without getting a Cuban stamp in passport.
Is he going to suddenly fund OFAC to hire in massive numbers to start checking up in a way they haven't for at least a decade?
If T plans to "get a better deal" from the Cuban government, it would probably be the new, younger guy T would be negotiating with in the near future when the promised step-down happens.
Btw The advice I got from Cuba was that T will be in for "only 4 years...and then things will ne back to normal".

Rubio is apparently on the commitee that would investigate T for the Russia funny business. What does that say to you about this upcoming announcment in the stronghold of Rubio and his hard line Cuban-American backers?

You said you were going in August, correct?
And that you were on a tour? Maybe, since tours like Insight and Road Scholar were legal before individual independent travel was, the rollback will only be on independent travel and not such tours. Hope for the best.

Let me be more specific:
That is individual travel under a general license (checking a box) , without applying to OFAC through a more complicated and detailed formal application process for a specific license that put each traveler under government scrutiny.
The procedure for those US passport holders with relatives to visit in Cuba has been a bit different, however.
