Warung Djawa? Indonesian food

Does anyone know if the Indonesian restaurant Warung Djawa still exists on Aruba? I read about it in one book but I don't know if their information is current. If not open, does anyone have any information about other restaurants on Aruba where one can eat Indonesian food?

Hi,
Unfortunately, I've never heard of this restaurant. How old is the book you are referencing? Do they give an address or any type of location?

I don't know about Indonesian, specifically. The closest found was Indian:

It is listed in the current Footprint Guide to the Caribbean but I do not see it on any Aruba-related websites.

Here's some information I found from someone on another board...

Warung INDO is between the cmb ( bank ) and caribbean palm village.
Coming up from wendy's past the gas station, cmb and like 200 yard
on your right,it's a yellow building.

Thanks a lot for finding this out. It seemed to me that a Dutch island should be a good place to eat Indonesian food.I find it odd that a web search on google had no hits. Thanks again.

You're quite welcome. Let me know if it was still there and if you enjoyed it.
