Planning a trip to St Thomas in January. We like a good beach (with snorkeling), tennis, and kitchen facilities. From looking at guidebook we are thinking of Sapphire Beach or Secret Harbor. Can anyone comment on these places or perhaps suggest another choice. Thank you.

Probably your best bet if budget is outstanding
Ritz Carlton... North Shore around Mahogany Run Magens Beach
nice stuff cheaper like www.magenspoint.com
used to own a condo there nice views and vibe for the price
though a much more budget choice...
Happy Hunting!
i love love secret harbour! perfect beach (sandy gradual entrance), good snorkeling off the right side, has a dive shop, blue moon cafe is one of best on island & has attached & really fun beach bar. the units are large & each has private balcony or patio. kitchens are good sized & well stocked with pots & pans. each has a small dining area, good sized living room. they do have tennis courts but i did not use them.
sh is about 10 mins from a good grocery with liqour dept. 10 mins the other direction is red hook with nice deli style market & ferry to st. john.
you will need a rental car at sh or sapphire.
I second Secret Harbour! Great snorkeling, good restaurant, bar and close to RedHook ferry for a day trip over to St John . Enjoy!
