Which airline -- Air Caraibes or Winair -- has a better interior and stays COOL during the flight?

Bill is right. You don't have enough time to be uncomfortable. both are good. The difference is the Win Air Twin Otter is larger with space for couples to sit together. (2 on one side, one on other of aisle.)

Suspicious of what?!? It's quite a legitimate question no matter how SHORT the flight is or how many different names I use! Besides, I just can't seem to keep track of all of my aliases!! <BR> <BR>(P.S. -- A 10-minute flight in a very claustrophobic, bouncing prop plane can seem like forever, hence my desire for complete comfort! Is that very difficult to understand? I think NOT!!)

Comfort you won't find, I'd opt for the one that didn't crash a few months ago.

Yes, Dirk/John/Mark - I have seen this question posed on Phil Stripling's Cieux, Caribbean-On-Line and now here and you've received responses at all of them. Does it spell PARANOIA?!! What answer are you looking for so we can give it? LOL! Remember there's always the ferry, but the one plus hour ride could get you with the seasickness. Just look out the window at all of the gorgeous scenery-- pray, relax and enjoy--it's only 10 minutes.

And some use multiple names to forward an agenda, such as to promote the island where they own real estate, etc. One that is easy to spot here poses under multiple names to promote St. John villas. <BR> <BR>The tip-offs include: <BR>- they never provide any substantial negatives about their island <BR>- they often subtly disparage competing islands, or start a thread of IslandA vs IslandB <BR>- they start a thread where someone gives a laundry list of requirements, and they respond back with their perfect match <BR>- they have friends that function as yes-men, and also attack or belittle opposing opinions <BR> <BR>And of course much of what is written is also totally legitimate. But the internet is used for hundreds of games like this, and as long as you're aware of it, there's also a lot of information and entertainment to be gained. What islands are you talking about flying to and from St.Barts with these prop planes? And how much does this sort of thing cost these days? Sounds like it might be fun. I remember flying to St. Lucia years ago on a tiny prop plane, right next to the twin mountain peaks, what a sight!

I was worried about the flight. I am a nervous flyer and it was one of the exciting 10 minute time period of my life! It was a bit warm but nothing that you can't handle for a few minutes. The view is so spectacular you won't even realize the temperature! Enjoy it!

We have taken both WinAir & Air Caribe and your right it is only 10 minutes. My husband and I felt very comfortable and it is a neat feeling coming into that Island and dropping down on that little run way!! So if your at all nervous about small spaces or flying perhaps using one of the ferries that run between St. Martin & St. Barts. <BR>I'm sure its on web site of either.

It's just a 12 minute flight from St. Martin to St. Barts. Don't expect comfort - it's usually humid inside the place, and the planes feel stuffy, but by the time you complain about it you'll have landed. If you are a fearful flyer, just close your eyes when the plane approaches for its landing - it is an unusual landing approach and one you aren't likely to forget! Be brave and look it's an experience! <BR><BR>Roundtrip air now costs in the neighborhood of $125. Going by boat is an alternative, but the trip takes a lot longer and heading to St. Barts it is usually rough and unpleasant.
